| Ever since you were a child in the meager village of Buttole, you wanted to become a great Wizard and learn the great mysteries of the universe, such as why 'abbreviated' is such a long word. The answer turned out to not be very interesting, but by that time you were a Wizard anyway. At the tiny tavern on the outskirts of the Village of Molehill, you were trapped in a conversation with a man who had clearly had more than his fill of zima. He told you about the great plague of chipmunks that had beset the entire region of Keaton, and of the rumor that the evil Wizard Frazool was the source of the unpleasantness. You resolved to find the villain and dispatch him, mostly to get the drunk guy to shut up. You weren't having any problems until you got lost in a tower -- all the walls looked exactly the same! You did find a sweet scythe +1 in a carrion crawler's lair, though, and were able to intimidate some gangsters into telling you where their boss's hideout was. Right before they stabbed you in the groin. However, you knew you'd never be a mighty adventurer if you let a little setback like that stop you, and damned if you were going to end up a stableboy in some crummy backwater like Morpork or Cold Crick. So you pressed onward until you discovered the lair of the Frost Lord Spitespirit, and after a long and dramatic battle you successfully put an end to his evil ways. And then you looted the hell out of his hideout.
