| After the entire village of Mondale was murdered, including your wife and dad, you vowed to get your revenge. You became a mighty Fighter, albeit one who was easily distracted by sidequests. As luck would have it, as you were passing through the land of Pearhawk, you stopped at the inn in the quiet hamlet of Bobcat, and heard the local chambermaid talking about the ancient tower that the town had (perhaps ill-advisedly) been built next to, and the fantastic Ruby Idol of Krampus that was purported to be hidden there. Without bothering to ask why nobody had managed to recover it already, you set out on your very first quest. It wasn't a thing until you got your face caught in a crocodile's mouth and had to gnaw it off to escape. Fortunately, you don't need that to be a hero... but you will sort of miss it. But, unwilling to let that keep you from glory, you gritted your teeth and wielded your handaxe, and cut your way through the hordes of gnolls that stood between you and your goal. At last you found the lair of Black Overlord Unpleasantor, who quite unexpectedly turned out to be your long-lost roommate, but you killed the bastard anyway. And thus was the land freed from tyranny, and you earned yourself a fat reward!
