| It was hard growing up as a cook's son in the tiny hamlet of Mondale, in the land of Febreezia. The other children mocked you because of your glasses and asthma, but you would have the last laugh when you grew up to be a mighty Wizard! (Which you did.) As luck would have it, as you were passing through the land of Glameroth, you stopped at the inn in the quiet hamlet of Sudoku, and heard the local milkmaid talking about the ancient pyramid that the town had (perhaps ill-advisedly) been built next to, and the fantastic Sapphire Idol of Arc'klor that was purported to be hidden there. Without bothering to ask why nobody had managed to recover it already, you set out on your very first quest. It was pretty easy, until you got your shoulder caught in a antlion pit and had to gnaw it off to escape. Fortunately, you don't need that to be a hero... but you will sort of miss it. But, unwilling to let that keep you from glory, you gritted your teeth and wielded your crossbow, and cut your way through the hordes of bandits that stood between you and your goal. At last you found the lair of Horror Warrior Battlewind, who quite unexpectedly turned out to be your long-lost half-brother, but you killed the douchewad anyway. And thus was the land freed from tyranny, and you earned yourself a fat reward!
