You always knew that the village of Rusty Nail wasn't big enough for you -- after all, it was just the one hut, and it was a small one. So, when you came of age, you decided to make a name for yourself as a Fighter. (You parents never gave you a name. You were hoping for "Riff".)

As you wandered the back alleys of Pitlick (and let's face it, most of that place is back alleys), a hand covered your mouth while a blade pushed gently at your ribs. You let yourself be dragged into a pitch-dark abandoned tannery. A sultry female voice introduced herself as Taupe Black wind. She asked you to undertake a quest to recover the Dauphin's lost earwig, Cholly. Reasoning it was the best quest you'd get until you leveled up a bit, you agreed to help.

You had a good handle on it at first, but you didn't expect to have to bareknuckle-fight all those orphans. That githyanki picked the total worst time to eat your sword.

However, you managed to overcome the odds (and your injuries), and after a lengthy crawl through a sewer infested with jocks, you finally came upon the lair of the Dark Wizard Unpleasantor, who was guarding the object of your quest. The evil fiend fell before your Leatherman, and the land was finally free of his foul shenanigans. You made your way back to civilization, and basked in the glory of your success (and the reward money).
