It was hard growing up as a blacksmith's son in the tiny hamlet of Cowpat, in the land of Goldthwaitia. The other children mocked you because of your glasses and asthma, but you would have the last laugh when you grew up to be a mighty Wizard! (Which you did.)

You rode into the city of Hamonrye, and met a shadowy stranger in a hooded cloak who was sitting in the corner of the local bar. He told you about the legendary Amethyst Eagle of Hamonrye, which is rumored to be hidden in an ancient ruin near the village of Dropseat, and promised you a hefty fee if you could bring it to him. Figuring he wouldn't offer you the quest if it weren't level-appropriate, you readily agreed.

There was no drama in the LBC until you had to actually go in the dungeon. That was when you fell in a awkward conversation, got attacked by kobolds, and got your foot bitten off by a roper.

Fortunately, "giving up" isn't in your dictionary (probably because it's two words), so you persevered. You fought your way through countless dire dwarves and kobolds -- even a gazebo! But eventually you found the lair of the sinister Devil Necromancer Baaaal, and were able to defeat him by knocking him into a antlion pit with a lucky critical hit. Bruised but successful, you made it back to the nearby city of Bacon and claimed your reward.
