You always knew that the village of Flytrap wasn't big enough for you -- after all, it was just the one hut, and it was a small one. So, when you came of age, you decided to make a name for yourself as a Fighter. (You parents never gave you a name. You were hoping for "Monk".)

You rode into the city of Swampleton, and met a shadowy stranger in a hooded cloak who was sitting in the corner of the local bar. He told you about the legendary Topaz Albatross of New Brunswick, which is rumored to be hidden in an ancient necropolis near the village of Dumpington, and promised you a hefty fee if you could bring it to him. Figuring he wouldn't offer you the quest if it weren't level-appropriate, you readily agreed.

You were doing a nifty job until you got attacked by more goblins than you could handle. You were lucky to get out of there with your thigh intact!

However, you knew you'd never be a mighty adventurer if you let a little setback like that stop you, and damned if you were going to end up a tavernkeep in some crummy backwater like Sto Lat or Flytrap. So you pressed onward until you discovered the lair of the Evil Lord Grimtooth, and after a long and dramatic battle you successfully put an end to his evil ways. And then you looted the hell out of his hideout.
