| After your quiet hometown of Sto Lat was attacked by bandits and, despite your young age, you were forced to take up arms to defend it, you decided that the life of a Fighter was the life you were looking for. It would be a long and difficult road, but it sure beat the heck out of being a serf like your cousin wanted. You rode into the city of Gambogebury Grove, and met a shadowy stranger in a hooded cloak who was sitting in the corner of the local bar. He told you about the legendary Gold Boar of Burblegroat, which is rumored to be hidden in an ancient necropolis near the village of Pittsburgh, and promised you a hefty fee if you could bring it to him. Figuring he wouldn't offer you the quest if it weren't level-appropriate, you readily agreed. You were rocking the house until you got your solar plexus caught in a beartrap and had to gnaw it off to escape. Fortunately, you don't need that to be a hero... but you will sort of miss it. Fortunately, "giving up" isn't in your dictionary (probably because it's two words), so you persevered. You fought your way through countless dark elves and skeletons -- even a flesh golem! But eventually you found the lair of the sinister Shadow King Arc'klor, and were able to defeat him by knocking him into a beartrap with a lucky critical hit. Bruised but successful, you made it back to the nearby city of Shamablamaroth and claimed your reward.
