| Due to a misunderstanding, your grandmother enrolled you in Bale Wizard School at a young age. (You were actually just interested in sawing ladies in half.) Still, you graduated with high marks, and set out on your first adventure as a full-fledged Wizard. As luck would have it, as you were passing through the land of Limberford, you stopped at the inn in the quiet hamlet of Bobcat, and heard the local blacksmith talking about the ancient sewer that the town had (perhaps ill-advisedly) been built next to, and the fantastic Ruby Idol of Frazool that was purported to be hidden there. Without bothering to ask why nobody had managed to recover it already, you set out on your very first quest. It wasn't a thing until you got your leg caught in a gelatinous cube and had to gnaw it off to escape. Fortunately, you don't need that to be a hero... but you will sort of miss it. Fortunately, "giving up" isn't in your dictionary (probably because it's two words), so you persevered. You fought your way through countless dire dwarves and gnolls -- even a roper! But eventually you found the lair of the sinister Terror Overlord Savagefemur, and were able to defeat him by knocking him into a gelatinous cube with a lucky critical hit. Bruised but successful, you made it back to the nearby city of Swampleton and claimed your reward.
