An ancient prophecy foretold of a child born in the city of Kilmer with a lawn-shaped birthmark, who would grow up to be the greatest Wizard ever known. You have a birthmark like that, but at first you were only a sort of okay Wizard. Everyone has to start somewhere, I guess.

One fateful day, you were strolling through the quiet village of Rusty Nail when you met the town blacksmith. That worthy begged you to try and rescue the Marquis of Flabbernathy's drunken niece, who had been kidnapped by tramps. Having little to do except save the world from an evil sorcerer or whatever, you took the quest.

You were doing a killer job until you had to actually go in the dungeon. That was when you fell in a succubus, got attacked by dark elves, and got your ankle bitten off by a rust monster.

However, you managed to overcome the odds (and your injuries), and after a lengthy crawl through a pyramid infested with jerks, you finally came upon the lair of the Grim Wizard Unpleasantor, who was guarding the object of your quest. The evil fiend fell before your 10' pole, and the land was finally free of his foul shenanigans. You made your way back to civilization, and basked in the glory of your success (and the reward money).
